Builds a stronger, steadier back-to-school ramp than previous seasons

Bouncyband's Amazon business follows the school calendar, with demand building through the summer and peaking as students head back to class. Ahead of the 2026 season, Odyssey rewrote titles and Item Highlights across roughly 95 Bouncyband SKUs to meet Amazon's July 27 compliance deadline, while advertising leaned into the brand's proven bestsellers as traffic climbed. The result was a ramp that outperformed 2025 in both total sales and shape: a 10% higher peak week, a steadier week-over-week build, and better ad efficiency throughout.

Opportunity

Bouncyband sells sensory and focus tools for kids and classrooms, and its demand is tightly tied to the school calendar. The brand's biggest revenue window each year is the six to eight weeks before school starts, when parents, teachers, and classrooms stock up.

In 2025, Prime Day fell close to the start of the school year and gave the season an extra boost. With Prime Day moving up more than a month in 2026, Odyssey needed to sustain that momentum without the same event-driven lift.

Approach

With Amazon's 75-character title limit and new Item Highlights attribute taking effect July 27, 2026, the team rewrote titles and built Item Highlights for roughly 95 Bouncyband SKUs ahead of the deadline. The timing meant the catalog was fully compliant and optimized before the heart of the ramp.

In parallel, keyword gap analysis on the flagship Wiggle Wobble Chair Feet and related sensory-seating lines identified targeting opportunities to capture more of the incoming search volume. The team tracked performance weekly through the season to catch and correct efficiency dips as they happened.

Impact & Results

Weekly revenue nearly tripled from its late-June low to the seasonal peak in the week of August 24, and that peak came in 10.4% higher than 2025's equivalent week. Over the full July–August window, total revenue grew 8.6% year over year, ad-attributed revenue grew 51.8%, and ACOS improved by a fifth, down 20%.

The 2025 ramp had a one-week boost from Prime Day landing inside the window, a spike that partially reversed the following week. In 2026, Prime Day fell before the ramp began, so this year's growth reflects sustained back-to-school demand rather than a single event, which is a more reliable pattern for planning next season. The top five products, led by the Wiggle Wobble Chair Feet, drove roughly 47% of ramp revenue. Classroom bulk packs, including 10-packs of Chair Feet and Student Desk bands, posted a standout 20x ROAS, which makes them a high-intent segment worth building into next year's strategy.
